First Time Navigating Medicare?
Start Here.

If you’re feeling a bit lost, take a deep breath... We simplify this into three manageable phases.

Timing is everything. You have a specific 7-month window to get this right.

Your Medicare Enrollment Periods and timeline to avoid penalties.

Missing this window can lead to lifelong late-enrollment penalties.
Let's make sure that doesn't happen.

Phase 1 – Knowledge Before Action

An informed client is a confident client. Before you dive into the paperwork, we want to give you the "Rules of the Road." Our process starts with education—not a sales pitch.

  1. Watch the Medicare 101 Webinar: A deep dive into the "Alphabet Soup" of Medicare (Parts A, B, C, and D) so you know exactly what is covered.

  2. Download the Digital Book: My comprehensive guide, 64+: Your Ultimate Guide to Medicare & Retirement Planning in Arizona.

Phase 2 – The "Big Logistics" (Social Security & Work)

Scenario A: Already on Social Security

The Status: You are likely automatically enrolled.

What to do: Medicare will mail your "Red, White, and Blue" card about 3 months before your 65th birthday.

Next Step: Once your card arrives, contact us for a Network Audit to pick your plan.

Scenario B: Still Working / Not on SS

The Status: You must manually apply for Parts A & B.

What to do: Visit SSA.gov/medicare to apply during your 7-month window.

Next Step: we perform a side-by-side audit of your Employer Coverage vs. Medicare to see which is the smarter financial move.

Critical HSA Note: If you are over 65 and still working, stop Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions at least 6 months before you plan to apply for Social Security or Medicare to avoid IRS excise tax penalties.

Phase 3 – The Strategy Session

Building Your Personalized Shield

Once you have your Medicare number, we don't look at brochures (we look at your life).

  • The Math: Side-by-side comparison of Medigap vs. Medicare Advantage.

  • The Network: Verifying your Lake Havasu (or out of town) specialists and surgeons.

  • The Pharmacy: Running your medications through the current formularies.

Phase 4 – The Finish Line & Support

Enrollment & Ongoing Advocacy

We handle the paperwork to get you enrolled in your Medicare Insurance Plan(s). After that, we aren't gone. We are your local Lake Havasu City agents year after year, reviewing your plan every October.

Moving to Havasu? If you are a new resident, your 63-day Special Enrollment Period (SEP) starts the day you move. Don't wait for your boxes to be unpacked to protect your health.
